About Us

A meaningful non-stop journey to serve the distressed humanity, to wipe out tears from the eyes of the Cancer-stricken poor people – a challenging task indeed. But BARASAT CANCER RESEARCH & WELFARE CENTRE has accepted it with a missionary zeal. CANCER must go – with the daring determination a march made its significant from a foggy morning of 1991. Today in the steady beginning of majestic 2008 the fog has disappeared and a transparent bluish sky has become visible. Traversing a long way to fight out Cancer the Centre through its relentless services in the field of compassionate Cancer care has added many sparkling feathers to its winning cap. And the resplendent outcome right now is its setting the stage to build up a world-class multi-dimensional Cancer complex – and the ambitious project has been named - Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Institute of Oncology. A unique venture no doubt as it will thoroughly change the existing Cancer care system with its revolutionary concepts.
