About Us
A meaningful non-stop journey to serve the distressed humanity, to wipe out tears from the eyes of the Cancer-stricken poor people – a challenging task indeed. But BARASAT CANCER RESEARCH & WELFARE CENTRE has accepted it with a missionary zeal. CANCER must go – with the daring determination an ambitious invasion made its significant start from a foggy morning of 1991. Today with the steady beginning of majestic 2010 the fog has almost disappeared and a transparent bluish sky has become visible. Traversing a long way to fight out Cancer the ‘CENTRE’ (BCRWC) through its relentless services in the field of Compassionate Cancer-care has added so many sparkling feathers to its winning cap. And the resplendent outcome, right now, is its setting the stage to build up a world-class multi-dimensional Cancer complex – and the zenith aspiring project has been named - ‘Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Institute of Oncology’. A unique venture no doubt, as it will thoroughly change the existing Cancer-care system with its revolutionary concepts and well-planned activities.
