A Unique Event
Mayurpankhi Nao - a dream vessel
of the Fairy Tales is slowly advancing, touching the sacred heart of Mother Ganga
- the life-force of India’s glorious civilization .... And a lively cultural
programme is going on in a neatly decorated dais along with the touchy speeches
from some oncologists.
The unique combination of highlighting precautionary measures against Cancer - a burning issue right now by renowned doctors of our Centre and the exposure of the artistic talents of the Centre’s staff members was certainly a new venture in the field of arranging Cancer Awareness Programme. And the architect of a new-look programme was Barasat Cancer Research & Welfare Centre which was presented on the eve of the New Year 2008.
